Course information
Spanish class will incorporate teacher-guided instruction, small and large group activities, teacher-directed discussion and individual practice. The following skills are emphasized at all grade levels: speaking, listening comprehension, reading and writing. Cultural similarities and differences found in various Spanish-speaking countries are intertwined in our discussions.
Homework
Students will be given written and/or study homework nearly every night. This work is designed to require approximately 10-20 minutes of the student's time. Homework will not be accepted late except in the case of excused absences. Homework is posted daily (Monday-Thursday) on the school website (cornwallschool.org). Click on the link to "Middle School Homework".
Communication
If you have questions, comments, or concerns about your child's work in Spanish, please feel free to send a note to me with your child (your child's assignment book serves as a good vehicle for relaying messages) or call me at school, 860-672-6617, ext.102. My e-mail address is [email protected].
general
